ANAHATA — natural face balm

Anahata is the heart space, the gateway of connection. Connection to Self, connection to others, and connection to nature. Anahata is the frequency of love, a tonic created from the heart for the heart.  

The magic is in the synergistic blend of cooling Blue Tansy, heart-opening Rose, calming Sandalwood, and harmonising Geranium, enhanced by the gentle touch of your own healing hands.   

THE ANAHATA CEREMONY

Prepare the skin by cleansing with Sola and misting with Rosa. 

Scoop a small amount of Anahata into the palm of your hand. Bring both palms together and place cupped hands over the nose, pausing here for a moment. Become aware of the natural flow of breath and aroma of Anahata.

From this place of awareness, inhale slowly and deeply through the nose. Allow the exhale to flow out again through the nose, softly and effortlessly.

Press both palms to your face and neck using a slow and gentle rolling action. Follow with gentle massage movements. Your hands will intuitively know what kind of touch and pace to massage with, and where to spend extra time and attention.

Then move hands to the heart space, pausing here for a few more breaths, feeling the breath move through the entire body. Breathe slowly, breathe deeply.

Follow the Anahata ceremony by applying Thea to the lips and Thea Calm (if required) to select areas, followed by Bardo over the body.

ANAHATA TIPS

Although it sounds counterintuitive to use a balm-type product if you have an oily skin type or acne, the Anahata formula works beautifully to calm, soothe and restore balance to the skin's barrier.

If skin is inflamed, press palms softly on the face instead of over-stimulating the skin with massage. Spend a few extra moments focused on the breath, working intentionally to slow the breath down, extending the exhale to make it slightly longer than the inhale.

Being wax-free, Anahata has the potential to melt if left in direct sunlight. If this happens accidentally, simply leave in the fridge for 10 minutes to set again. In environments with high ambient temperatures, Anahata can be stored in the fridge if required.
