Aromatology Facial Serum No. 03

A cooling, calming, anti inflammatory serum to help reduce redness.

“Much like restoring the barrier of the skin, reducing inflammation is an equally important phase one step when working towards creating a strong healthy skin. A trilogy of calming plant extracts, including Chamazulene-rich Blue Tansy, have an instant cooling and calming effect on the skin, offering support to a vast range of inflamed skin conditions. The aromatic extracts also get to work on an emotional level to reduce stress (which is a common trigger to these conditions) thanks to the powerful olfactory and limbic system connection.

Who's it for?

Formulated with a simple yet powerful combination of natural plant oils and extracts that work synergistically to calm, cool, and reduce redness, Facial Serum No. 03 is well suited to the following skin types and conditions:

  • Sensitive skin
  • Eczema / Dermatitis
  • Inflamed skin
  • Temporarily sensitised skin
  • Dry skin
  • Environmental damage / sunburn, windburn.
  • Inflamed acne with underlying redness
  • Rosacea
  • Emotional distress

The Ritual:

Start by cleansing your face using the Aromatology Botanical-11 Oil Cleanse (cleansing twice in the evening if needing to remove makeup and/or sunscreen). Then taking an ultra-soft warm facecloth press it against the skin, holding for a few deep breaths before wiping away any residue. Spray a Rose Hydrating Mist into the palms of your hands and press over your face. Then taking 4 - 6 drops of Facial Serum No. 03 in the palms of your hands apply over your entire face and neck, gently press and hold against your skin (rather than massage) as this application technique has a powerful calming effect on the skin.

Additional tips:

  • While working on restoring the barrier of your skin avoid any form of exfoliation.
