A true tonic for the skin and heart.

"This wax-free, velvety soft facial balm is a super concentrate formula of all-natural plant extracts. Anahata melts effortlessly into the skin providing an instant cooling and calming effect, while feeding the deeper layers a variety of skin-loving essential nutrients. Skin is instantly replenished and left feeling plump, hydrated, and soft to the touch.

Born from my desire to create a water-free product that would replace the need for a traditional moisturiser, Anahata doesn't contain any unnecessary, or questionable, ingredients that most moisturisers do. This means that every drop delivers your skin a powerful boost of what it needs and nothing it doesn't. While nurturing your skin, the plant extracts also combine to create an aromatic synergy that eases tension, calms the mind, and soothes the heart. Created from a place of openness — from my heart to yours."

Who's it for?

Formulated with a simple yet powerful combination of natural plant oils and extracts that work synergistically to deeply nourish, calm, and hydrate the skin, the Anahata Facial Balm Concentrate is well suited to a wide range of skin types and conditions including:

  • Dehydration
  • Compromised skin barrier
  • Sensitive skin
  • Eczema / Dermatitis
  • Inflammatory skin conditions
  • Redness through emotional distress
  • Temporarily sensitised skin
  • Dry skin
  • Environmental damage; sunburn / windburn.
  • Inflamed acne with underlying redness
  • Rosacea
  • Psoriasis

The Ritual:

Start by cleansing your face using the Aromatology Botanical-11 Oil Cleanse (cleansing twice in the evening if needing to remove makeup and/or sunscreen). Then taking a warm facecloth press it against the skin, holding for a few deep breaths before wiping away any residue. Using 3 sprays of the Facial Mist Rosa Botanical  apply directly to the face or spray into the palms of the hands and press into the face. Then, taking a small amount (no more than the size of a pea) between the palms press Anahata to the face, neck, and over the chest, then use slow, light movements to massage in. Anahata can be used morning and/or night with the frequency depending on your individual skin health needs —anywhere from on a daily basis through to 1 x weekly as a treat.

Additional tips:

  • Selective application; can be used as an intensive eye treatment balm or for specific areas on the face that need extra nourishment such as along the cheek bones.
  • Due to the low melt point of the plant butters used, Anahata will soften in the warmer weather and can be kept in the fridge when temperatures rise or if you simply prefer the cooling effect on the skin.
