"This synergy of pure essential oils was something I created for myself back when I was first studying aromatic science. I was going through an emotionally difficult period following the loss of my Dad, and saw this as the ideal time to put the theory I'd learned into practice. The benefits I experienced first-hand cemented my love for aromatics and piqued my interest further in the powerful connection between the olfactory system and the limbic system (emotional centre) of the brain. For aromatic inhalation only. Do not ingest. Do not apply directly to the skin. 

The Ritual:

Direction inhalation: This method has the most immediate affect on the limbic system of the brain and is recommend in times of high anxiety or stress. Apply 3 drops to a tissue and holding in cupped hands over the nose, inhale in and out through the nose softly and deeply. The tissue can then be tucked into a pocket for use as required throughout the day, replacing daily.

Diffuse into a space: To create a calming living space add 5 drops to a large glass or stainless steel bowl and fill with warm water. Walk around the room/s leaving the bowl to sit somewhere for up to 30 minutes. If you have a burner or a diffuser add water plus 5 drops of Breathe and burn/diffuse for up to 30 minutes at a time.

Additional tips:

  • Bath: Add 3 drops of Pure Synergy — breathe to 1T Magnesium Flakes and disperse under running water as the bath fills.
  • Shower: Add 3 drops of Pure Synergy — breathe to the shower floor to enjoy an aromatic steam inhalation while showering.
  • For a full body exfoliation place 2t (10ml) of Golden Jojoba Oil into a small glass or stainless steel bowl and add an equal amount of ground up Himalayan salt, plus 5 drops of Pure Synergy — breathe. Warm the mixture by placing the bowl in a larger bowl of warm water before massaging all over the body. Do this before taking a shower or bath for a nourishing, exfoliating treat once a week. 
  • If sleep issues arise from anxiety apply 3 drops to a tissue and place inside your pillow case. Ideally combine with breathing exercises before sleep.
